Anna Firlus gives concerts as a soloist and chamber musician on the organ, harpsichord and other historical keyboard instruments, performing repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day. She is a member of the {oh!} Orkiestra, with which she has been performing regularly since 2015. She also collaborates with many other early music performance ensembles.
Among her numerous recordings, we can mention two solo organ albums: Music in the Times of Breakthrough with unknown organ music from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and a CD published in the series Orgellandschaft Niederlausitz Monografien; Réflexions with contemporary music for organ and harpsichord, composed for her by Adrian Robak, harpsichord solo Suites of J.A. Losy (Losy, Weiss: Lute Music in Prague & Vienna Circa 1700. Music from Eighteenth-Century Prague), Portraits – Les caractères français with the {oh!} trio (the Clé d’Or from ResMusica magazine), world premiere recording of J. Marchand Suites with {oh!} trio, C.F. Abel – Sonatas From the Maltzan Collection (world premiere recording), recorded together with her husband, Krzysztof Firlus (International Classical Music Award 2020 and Fryderyk award nomination) and many other recordings for the following labels: Aparte, Sony, NIFC, Muso, CPO, Supraphon and Dux.
She performs at many festivals such as: “Barock-Festspiele” in Bayreuth, Wigmore Hall Festival, Bachfest Leipzig, Regensburg Festspiele, Haendel Festspiele Halle, Magdeburger Telemann Festtage, “Letní slavnosti staré hudby” in Prague, “Misteria Paschalia” in Krakow, International Festival of Central and Eastern European Music “Eufonie” in Warsaw, “Mixtur im Bass” Festival, “Großräschener Orgelkonzerte”, “Brühl Castle” Festival, International “Bach Festival” in Świdnica, “All’improvviso” in Gliwice.
Anna Firlus is an academic teacher in the class of Historical Performance Practice at the Music Academy in Katowice.

Anna Firlus ukończyła Akademię Muzyczną im. K. Szymanowskiego
w Katowicach w klasie organów prof. J. Gembalskiego oraz w klasie klawesynu prof. M. Toporowskiego. Obecnie jest wykładowcą w klasie historycznych praktyk wykonawczych tejże uczelni.
